Centennial High School, Las Cruces, NM

1950 Sonoma Ranch Blvd,

Las Cruces NM (USA) 88011

With the majestic Organ Mountains to the east and mighty Rio Grande River to the west, Las Cruces stands as an oasis at the junction of the I-10 and I-25.  New Mexico State University makes its home here among fine art galleries, informative museums, a lively theater scene, and high desert terrain.  With an average of 350 days of clear blue skies each year, Las Cruces is the perfect base to explore the breathtaking surrounding area.

Centennial, home of the Hawks, is one of New Mexico's newest high schools, opening its doors to its students for the first time during in 2012.  Their name is a celebration of the centennial, or 100th anniversary, of our statehood. On June 21, 1910 President William H. Taft announced the signing of a bill that added "Two new stars on the American Flag," as he put it, making New Mexico and Arizona America's newest states. On January 6th, 1912 New Mexico officially became the 47th state of the Union.

The Vision Conference brings together student and adult leaders to share their values and insight through the opportunity to establish networking while involved in inspirational training with the aim to continue it all once they return home.

Vision is designed by students, led by students, for students and adult leaders.  Participants leave with renewed enthusiasm for Student Council involvement at their schools and in their communities, new ideas, for service learning and projects they can implement, stronger leadership skills and new friendships.
