White Sands is said to be Like No Place Else on Earth! Rising from the heart of the Tularosa Basin is one of the world's great natural wonders - the glistening white sands of New Mexico. Great wave-like dunes of gypsum sand have engulfed 275 square miles of desert, creating the world's largest gypsum dunefield. White Sands National Park preserves a major portion of this unique dunefield, along with the plants and animals that live here.

Saturday, June 21, 2020 our conference program for most of the day will be on the NMSU Campus.Bussing will be provided from Centennial HS to NMSU and back.We will have a mini campus tour.

Farm and Ranch Museum
With many exhibits and demonstrations -- indoors and outside -- there is something for everyone to enjoy. Visitors of all ages will enjoy the demonstrations, such as blacksmithing, as well as our livestock tours. The demonstration schedule is subject to change, so please call ahead or check with the front desk to learn about that day's schedule. Many of the museum's attractions are outdoors, so visitors are encouraged to take precautions against the sun, especially during the summer months.
Haunted Las Cruces
Las Cruces is rich in natural beauty, culture and history. But did you know it may also be home to whispering spirits who wander the halls in the night and mischievous ghosts acting out local legend and lore?
Dripping Springs Trail is a 2.7 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Las Cruces, New Mexico that features a waterfall and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, nature trips, and birding and is accessible year-round.
